CARE PROTOCOL
Clean rules. Quiet maintenance. Nothing fancy — just the way the Shift handles its metal.
01. Silver Moves With You
925 sterling silver changes — darkens, softens, picks up the hours.
That’s the metal doing what metal does.
If you want it brighter, wipe it with a soft polishing cloth.
Avoid dips, harsh pastes, or “miracle cleaners.”
If it sounds too strong, it probably is.
02. Stones Need a Little Distance
Your stones — nano or natural — can take a night out.
What they can’t take is concrete floors, sharp edges, or being thrown in a bag with your keys.
Keep them away from impact.
Think of them as company, not equipment.
03. Water, Sweat & Chemicals
Silver doesn’t melt in water, but repeat exposure speeds up tarnish.
Rinse and dry after swimming or sweating hard.
Keep your piece clear of bleach, perfumes, sprays, hand sanitiser, cleaning products — anything that burns, coats, or corrodes.
04. Wearing & Storing
If it’s on your body, it’s fine.
If it’s in a drawer, give it its own space.
Store pieces separately — pouch, box, envelope, anywhere dry.
Stacking jewellery together leads to scratches, dents, arguments.
05. Cleaning Protocol
Polishing cloth only
Mild soap + warm water if it’s actually dirty
Dry completely before putting away
Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless you know exactly how your stone behaves in one
If you’re unsure, ask. Better a question here than a repair later.
06. If Something Seems Off
If your piece arrives damaged or faulty, contact the Front Desk.
Tarnish and marks from wear aren’t faults — they’re the story forming.
